RADIO K ANNOUNCES NEW PROGRAMMING SCHEDULE

Minneapolis, MN (January 15, 2008) - Radio K is pleased to announce a new programming schedule to take effect January 21, 2008. The weekend line-up will now better mirror what we do so well during the week, showcasing our diverse mix of new and independent artists. These changes reflect feedback from Radio K listeners for more variety on the weekends and the opportunity to hear more live, in-studio performances.

The weekday schedule now gives listeners the chance to listen to their favorite specialty shows throughout the week. Program Director, Matt Herting says, “Specialty shows have always complemented our regular programming and our new schedule embraces this by highlighting a different genre-based show each weeknight, beginning at 6 p.m.”

A downloadable programming schedule is available online at radiok.org. All specialty shows will be available for streaming starting on or about January 21, 2008.
