Ghosts, Zombies and Scary Stories

Our producers are getting into the Halloween spirit. Or spirits.

In recent days, lots of stories have popped up on Ampers.org about ghosts, zombies, haunted theaters, haunted houses, slaughterhouses and psychics.

Peter Ostroushko writes a poem (while hitching a ride)

Plenty of Poetry

After downloading the Poetry Foundation's new iPhone app, I was curious to discover the poetry gems we might have here on the Ampers website. It turns out we've got a pretty good selection of poetry-related stories from three member stations. WTIP in Grand Marais has a show titled, "Poetry Times Three," featuring the work of Yvonne Rutford, Ryan Vine and Julie Gard. Radio K explores slam poetry and a university magazine that publishes student poetry.
